This was taken from the shore, next to the causeway to St. Mary's Island. I used a relatively slow shutter (about 2.5s) to capture a smooth/smokey effect in the water. However, even with the smallest possible aperture this left the sky looking a little washed-out, so I did a bit of digital manipulation to drag the brightness down, and I was quite pleased with the result.
