Play Menu

The second item on the main menu is the Play menu.

The following options are available from this menu:

Scale Ascending (One Octave): Play the current scale ascending over one octave.

Scale Descending (One Octave): Play the current scale descending over one octave.

Scale Ascending (Two Octaves): Play the current scale ascending over two octaves.

Scale Descending (Two Octaves): Play the current scale descending over two octaves.

Riff-o-Rama (Ascending): Play an ascending pattern derived from the current scale.

Riff-o-Rama (Descending): Play an descending pattern derived from the current scale.

Start Playing in Octave: Provides a pop-up menu which you can use to specify the base octave to be used for the other options from the Play menu.

Play at Speed: Provides a pop-up menu which you can use to specify the speed to be used for the other options from the Play menu. This pop-uup menu includes some standard tempos, plus a 'Custom' option whihc allows you top set a specific tempo via the Play Settings dialog.

Loop: If this is checked, when a scale/riff is played, it will keep looping around until the 'Loop' menu option is unchecked.
