The scale list allows you to select which scale to display. This list is filtered to show only those scales belonging to the specified Scale Family.
When you select a scale from this list the markers on the guitar neck are updated to show the location of notes from the specified scale. Also, some information about the current scale is displayed in the area at the bottom of the dialog.
